HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ – After the transformation of the branch network of the Czech Post in 2023, the sale of the real estate of the state-owned enterprise will also come next. In the offer, the objects of the former branches in Věkošy, in Fráni Šrámka Street in Pražské Předměstí and in Milady Horákové Street in Pod Strání will go up for electronic auction in May. A branch in Štefánikova Street in Hvězda is also being prepared.
Since Česká pošta no longer uses the former post office buildings and does not plan to reopen them, it is offering them for sale through an auction. It then uses the money from the sold real estate to finance its operation. However, it is not always possible to find a new owner the first time, which is why some auctions are held repeatedly.
The post office in Věkošy in K Sokolovná Street is therefore on offer for a minimum purchase price of CZK 12,050,000. In addition, a long-term lease has been concluded in this building, an established butcher shop and sausage shop operate in part of the building.
The post office in Milady Horáková Street starts with a lower offer at a minimum purchase price of CZK 8,370,000. The post office in Fráni Šrámka Street can be the cheapest for a minimum purchase price of CZK 5,808,320.
Another post office on Hvězda is just being prepared for sale.

In Hradec, after the reorganization of 14 post offices, 8 post offices were finally preserved, which are those at the main station, on Pospíšilová třída, in Březhrad, in Svobodné Dvory, in Malšovice, on Benešová třída and also in Nové Hradec. The branch from ČSA Street then moved to the new ČSOB building this year.
