The facelift of the current generation of the Hyundai Tucson presented in November brought minor changes to the car’s exterior and interior, but now the domestic Hyundai dealership is coming with important information – how much we will pay for it. The updated car goes on sale at a starting price of 649,990 crowns and a remarkably wide range of drives is available.
For those mentioned 649,990 crowns including VAT, you get a Hyundai Tucson with a basic petrol engine, which is a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.6 T-GDi with an output of 160 hp, coupled with front-wheel drive and a basic six-speed manual gearbox. You can also have the same engine in a version with a mild-hybrid 48V starter-generator in combination with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which can also be combined with all-wheel drive.

The same offer also applies to the 1.6 CRDi diesel engine. It starts with an amount 789,990 crowns (better equipment is already included in the price), and you can get either a version with 115 horses, a manual and front-wheel drive, or a mild-hybrid with an output of 136 horses with an automatic, or with an automatic and four-wheel drive.
On the amount 869,990 crowns then the full hybrid version starts. It combines a 1.6 T-GDi gasoline engine with an electric motor capable of driving the car by itself and a six-speed automatic transmission. The performance of the hybrid Tucson HEV is 215 horsepower and can be front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Finally, the top engine is the plug-in hybrid, starting at 999,990 crowns. Here is the same technology – that is, a gasoline engine with an electric motor, automatic transmission and front or all-wheel drive, but at the same time a larger battery, the possibility of driving in purely electric mode, and also a higher output of 252 horsepower.
The last twenty cars left at the price level of up to 400 thousand crowns. What are they?
As far as equipment is concerned, the lowest level is called Comfort, and you can only get it in combination with the basic engine for the mentioned basic price. Even in this equipment, however, you get Bi-LED headlights, seventeen-inch alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, parking camera, keyless access and starting or navigation.
Most cars, given the engines on offer, will be sold in Smart trim, which throws in a leather steering wheel, blind spot monitoring, automatic dual-zone climate control, a wireless mobile phone charger, automatic wipers or roof rails.
