Prague – The forecast for the Czech Republic promises to clear up before the weekend, showers may not appear until Saturday afternoon. The mornings will be cool, but weekend daytime temperatures may reach above the summer 25 degrees Celsius. This is according to information from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).
The first day of school, and therefore the beginning of the meteorological autumn, will be marked by sunnier weather that will last until Saturday afternoon, the CHMÚ announced on Facebook this morning. Today and Friday it will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, in the afternoon it will be cloudy.
Over the weekend, the sky should become cloudy in places. Occasional showers and light rain may occur on Saturday, and occasional thunderstorms will also appear on Sunday.
“In the next few days, the mornings will be quite cold with temperatures around eight degrees Celsius, the afternoon temperatures will only be slightly above 20 degrees,” wrote the CHMÚ. At the weekend, it will warm up to 15 degrees Celsius at night, and afternoon temperatures can rise to 26 degrees.
Summer temperatures should remain at the beginning of next week. According to the forecast, on Monday it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated showers.
