On Monday morning, there were fogs or low clouds in many places in the Czech Republic, mostly in the area of ​​the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. In other places it was already clear or partly clear.

Temperatures in the morning ranged between 15 and 11 degrees Celsius. The coldest station in the lowlands was Velké Chvojno with a minimum of 7.3 degrees, at the Šumava station Kvilda-Perla it was slightly freezing, meteorologists there measured minus 0.2 degrees.

In the first half of this week, temperatures will swing above the usual maximum for this period due to the flow of warm air. “On average, at the beginning of September, the maximums are around 21 degrees, but on Wednesday we expect around 25 degrees and thus we will still have summer days,” explained Michaela Valachová from the ČHMÚ.

The highest temperatures will rise to 21 to 25 degrees Celsius, at 1,000 meters in the mountains they will be around 19 degrees, in the northeast around 16 degrees.

Weather outlook from Saturday to Monday:

  • It will be mostly cloudy with showers.
  • Nighttime lows will drop to 13 to 8 degrees Celsius.
  • The highest daily temperatures will range between 17 and 22 degrees.

Tuesday night meteorologists expect partly cloudy to clear, in the north cloudy with isolated rain and showers. In the morning, fog or low cloud cover will occur once again, especially in the south-western half of Bohemia and in the extreme east of the territory. The lowest temperatures will drop to 15 to 11 degrees, in the northeast to 8 degrees Celsius.

During the day on Tuesday the ČHMÚ forecast predicts partly clear to clear, during the day it will be partly cloudy with isolated showers. In the southwest of the territory, meteorologists report the possibility of a thunderstorm. The highest temperatures will rise to 22 to 26 degrees.

On Wednesday it will be partly cloudy to cloudy, occasionally with the occurrence of showers. Cloudiness will increase from the west, there is also a chance of thunderstorms in the west. In the morning there will be fog or low clouds again. The lowest night temperatures will drop to 14 to 10 degrees. The highest daily temperatures will then rise to 23 to 27 degrees.

On Thursday it will be cloudy to cloudy, it will rain in most areas. Meteorologists are also warning of storms in some places. Cloudiness and precipitation will decrease in Bohemia from the west later. The lowest night temperatures will drop to 16 to 12 degrees. the highest daily temperatures rise to 22 to 26 degrees Celsius.

On Friday meteorologists predict partly cloudy, partly cloudy to overcast and showers in places, occasional thunderstorms. The lowest night temperatures will drop to 15 to 11 degrees. The highest daily temperatures will rise to 21 to 25 degrees Celsius.
