Horní Street between Dubina and Bělský les in Hrabůvka belonged to powerful machines. The traditional Road Circus event was marred by the accident of a freestyle biker, but luckily everything turned out well.
David Bryknar aka Jet mask, organizer: “A while ago, Vojta Bělunk performed here with his friend Milan Baník. Unfortunately, it was long during the first boot jump, but it is fine. They took him to the hospital for a checkup, so he’ll be fine.”
What were the nerves like before the jumps and when was the moment you decided you could do it?
Vojtěch Bělunek, Freestyle motocross jumper: “The nerves were such that I thought I was going to go crazy, because seeing a friend lying on the ground shaking and rolling his eyes is not pleasant. I thought I would give up, but for Ostrava, for my ego, and for my dream, so fulfilled.”
How do you like to support people?
Vojtěch Bělunek, Freestyle motocross jumper: “They were great, really great.”
After that, the Road Circus was already in full swing. Children competed on the bouncers and the Peschel brothers entertained the audience with their stunts.
This year’s novelty was, among other things, car races. The cars that the boys built themselves in their garages lined up at the start.
Survey: event visitors: “Great, it’s great.”
“The atmosphere is good, full of people, the heat is too much, what else can we say about it. It’s about powerful machines. We enjoy motorcycles.”
The event also featured stalls with good food and drink and an exhibition of vintage cars.
