Slavia will face Sivasspor of Turkey in the first match of the Conference League group. The Stitched were picked from the first basket and are favorites to win the group. The very first match in Turkey will tell how Slavia will be able to fulfill these ideas.

Slavia, Cluj, Sivasspor, Balkani. That’s what Group G of the Conference League sounds like. Slavia should be the favorite to advance from first place, although it is definitely not an easy group.

The Sišivani have been in good form lately, the rampant attackers were only stopped by Slovácko, where Slavia drew 1:1. Before that, they won four games with a score of 19:0.

And that includes the match with Raków, the play-off for the Conference League. Slavia lost the first match 1:2, in retaliation with a goal sent the match to overtime, where in the 120th minute Ivan Schranz decided the progress of the red and white team.

Sivasspor fought for the European League, but did not get into it after defeats 1:3 and 0:2 with Swedish Malmö. They have to take the Conference League forever.

But in the new season, the Turkish team is not doing well at all. They have yet to win once in eight games, with a 0-4 loss to Trabzonspor in the Supercup and the aforementioned losses to Malmö followed by league defeats to Demirspor and Besiktas and draws to Gaziantep, Karagumruk and Alanyaspor.

The total balance of Sivasspor this season is thus 8 matches, 5 defeats and 3 draws. Slavia played 13 matches, in which they won nine times, drew twice and lost twice.

It is so clear which team is in better form, but that can get a little dirty in the European cups. Even so, Slavia is the favorite to win, the betting office Tipsport has posted odds of 2.03 for their win, you can bet on Sivasspor’s win at odds of 3.70.

Apart from the match against Slovácko, Slavia is currently in great shooting form and is scoring goals like on a treadmill. At the same time, Sivasspor, like traditionally Turkish teams, does not have a completely organized and solid defense, so I think we could see at least three goals.
