Survivor 2023 – contestants, rules and where to watch

Survivor Czechia & Slovakia will appear on TV screens for the second time in 2023. In its current form, Survivor, based on a globally popular model from the USA, will be broadcast from 2022. In the Czech Republic, the competition is broadcast by Nova TV, and in Slovakia by Markiza. Viewers will also be able to watch individual episodes on the Voyo online platform.

Competitors in Survivor Czechia & Slovakia 2023

The names of the participants of the Survivor 2023 reality show are not yet clear. However, the first speculations appeared. According to them, the main star of the second season should be the actor Jiří Langmajer. However, not a single television has yet denied or confirmed any names.

In addition, the names of other personalities who were supposed to participate leaked from the television backstage. Former footballer Petr Švancara, model Karolína Krézlová, MMA fighter Kateřina Klinderová and presenter Václav Matějovský should also go to the Dominican Republic.

The Survivor Czechia & Slovakia 2023 competition will once again introduce two teams of contestants made up of celebrities and ordinary people to the Dominican Republic. In the wild nature there, the participants will build their own shelter, make a fire and provide themselves with food and water.

Ondřej Novotný, an experienced moderator and promoter of Oktagon, will also host the second series of the competition.

Rules Survivor Czechia & Slovakia 2023

The Survivor 2023 reality show also has its own rules. Some are unique to the Czech and Slovak versions, but others have already been introduced by the creators of the American model in order to protect the health of the players and at the same time prevent them from cheating.

Team Immunity

Just like last year and just like in the foreign model, the contestants will be divided into two teams at the beginning of the year. They will compete against each other for team immunity. The unsuccessful team will then have to choose two of their members who will compete in a duel to see who stays in the competition and who is eliminated.

Individual immunity

After half of the contestants are eliminated in the team phase, the two tribes merge into one. Until the finals, the competition is for individual immunity, which ensures that the winner cannot be eliminated at tribal council.

Hidden immunity

In addition to the immunities that can be won in individual competitions, you can also find a hidden immunity symbol. The player who finds it can then play it at tribal council and thus cancel all the votes for his person.

Elimination duels

In Survivor Czechia & Slovakia, the decision of the tribal council does not have to mean an immediate end to the competition for the contestants. The tribal council chooses two contestants and they then compete with each other to see who will actually leave the competition.

Other rules of Survivor Czechia & Slovakia 2023

In addition, the contestants must adhere to the rules that were already devised by the creators of the American model. These rules prevent contestants from cheating, protect their health and also protect nature, the country where the contest is filmed.

Rules that lead to an immediate player ban:

• It is forbidden to offer a share of the main prize
• Outside of challenges, player-to-player violence is prohibited
• Players must follow the laws of the state they are from and the state where they are filming

Other rules:

• Contestants may not vote for themselves at tribal council, refuse to vote, or not attend the council
• Contestants must show who they are voting for on camera
• The contestant may not rob the other trunk
• In case of injury, the medical team decides on the continuation of the competitor

Final Survivor Czechia & Slovakia 2023

After the last three players remain in the game, they no longer decide their next fate among themselves. The overall winner of the competition will be decided by a council made up of eliminated members of the competition.

Prize in Survivor Czechia & Slovakia 2023

In addition to the experience and the knowledge that he is able to survive on his own in the wilderness, the winner of the competition will also take home 2,500,000 CZK.

Survivor Česko & Slovensko is a joint project of the Czech television Nova and the Slovak television Markíza. Viewers will see the new episodes on their screens. In addition, it will be possible to watch the competition online on the Voyo platform.
