Lebanese Islamists are gaining an interesting ally. The old Wagner group, which operates in neighboring Syria, among other places, now wants to support the Hezbollah movement, which is the de facto ruling party in Lebanon. According to the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), which referred to sources from the American intelligence service, the Wagnerites want to send the Radicals the Pancir-S1 anti-aircraft system, which is being operated in Ukraine and Syria.
Hizbollah has been shelling the land of Israel with great intensity since January 7th. So far, he has avoided involvement in the conflict between Tel Aviv and the Palestinian Hamas movement, but it is not ruled out that he could make an appearance in the future.
