According to the Russian-language service of the British BBC, the Southern Command of the Ukrainian army said that the Russian army dropped more than 50 aerial bombs on populated areas in the Kherson region in the last day.
The head of the Kherson region Oleksandr Prokudin posted footage of the destroyed school on Telegram. “The ruins of what used to be a school until recently,” he captioned it. He also said that two people died and six others were injured.
An anti-aircraft alert was declared in Odessa on Sunday afternoon, anti-aircraft defenses were deployed and authorities urged people to stay in shelters until the alert ends. Information on possible damages is not yet available.
