The Ukrainians moved armored vehicles to the left bank of the Dnieper, they are still holding positions

--

The left-bank part of the Kherson region is under the control of Russian troops, but in recent days ISW has pointed out several times that Ukrainian soldiers are managing to hold positions on the left bank of the river near the village of Krynky.

According to Russian bloggers, current Ukrainian ground operations on the left bank are more extensive than before.

The Ukrainian agency Unian noted that it would be the first time that Ukrainian armored vehicles appeared on the left bank of the Dnieper.

Specifically, bloggers reported on Tuesday that a Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle crossed the Dnieper near the village of Krynky.

They also pointed to a photo showing a destroyed Western amphibious armored personnel carrier at an unspecified location on the left bank. Others wrote about the movement of several armored personnel carriers to the area.

Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces transferred a limited number of armored vehicles to the east (left) bank of Kherson & are continuing larger-than-usual ground operations on the east bank w/ a light infantry grouping of roughly battalion size. https://t.co/ApY0dgri6Z https://t.co/8UYBPAs85k
