The birds of convicts Ryan Samsel, James Grant, Stephen Randolph, Paul Johnson and Jason Blythe were unknown before the riot. Each comes from another American state, noted The Washington Post (WP).
But on January 6, 2021, they found themselves together on the front lines of a savage attempt to reach the United States Capitol. And video footage showed that together they raised a line of five interlocking barriers and pressed them against a group of five Capitol Police officers, one sheet at a time.

These are the defendants who started it, prosecutor Alexandra Fosterov said in her statement before the verdict. There is little doubt that this moment ignited the fire that burned around the Capitol for hours, she said in reference to the violence that left five dead and dozens injured.
All five of the impugned judges found Jia Cobb guilty of assaulting a police officer, and those of them are thus guilty of the small confirmation process as a result of the presidential elections of 2020. Each of the birds acquitted Cobb of several other charges.
Samsel and dal, according to the cover, opened the first way to the Congress buildings for the crowd of Trump supporters, where at the time a meeting was held about the election results, which Trump continues to this day. The intruders finally got inside after fighting with the police, and the protesters had to be evacuated. Because of the unprecedented episodes of political violence in the US, about 1,250 people were charged and sentences were handed down in no less than 700 cases, mostly after agreements with prosecutors.
The first few new convicts under the WP argued in court that it was not fair to blame a handful of people for the riots, including thousands of people. The notice of punishment is fulfilled on the 13th of June. For attacking a police officer in connection with January 6, the judges sentenced several prisoners.
Such a punishment will probably not change Samsel, who is considered to be the main initiator of the attack and was found guilty in eight of the 12 counts. Before the attack on the Congress, he had a record condemning the verdicts for violence against the Czech Republic, and in recent years he has been behind the scenes.
