US President Transgender Day of Visibility he declared on Easter, which is one of the most important church holidays for Christians, as this celebration of transgender people usually falls on the last day of March. This year, however, the movable Easter holidays also came out on it.

“I declare March 31, 2024 as Transgender Day of Visibility. I call on all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people across our country and to work to eliminate violence and discrimination based on gender identity,” Biden said on a day meant to celebrate the bravery, the courage, the bravery of transgender people .

“On Transgender Day of Visibility, we recognize the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our nation’s commitment to a more perfect union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout life,” he continued.

On the contrary, the White House decided to suppress religious traditions as part of Easter this year. How reported The New York Post, religious symbols were prohibited during Easter celebrations. Although it had traditionally been allowed, this year it ticked the box for children of National Guard members to submit designs for religious Easter eggs, and their design “could not contain any dubious content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”

These actions by Biden this Easter have met with a lot of criticism. “Biden’s White House has betrayed the main principle of Easter, which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Banning sacred truth and tradition – while declaring Easter Sunday ‘Transgender Day’ – is outrageous and repugnant. The American people take note of this,” the speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, launched into the American president.

In addition, everything together raises unpleasant surprises among church officials, while Biden is not helped by the fact that he has repeatedly described himself as a “devout Catholic” and claims that he goes to church regularly. Washington Archbishop Wilton Gregory called Biden a “coffee shop Catholic” who cherry-picks parts of his faith and “ignores or even denies” other aspects of his faith.

“I would say that he is very sincere about his faith. But like many Catholics, he chooses the dimensions of the faith that he wants to emphasize, while ignoring or even denying other parts,” Gregory told CBS. According to him, Biden chooses what is attractive to him out of faith and rejects what is challenging.

And how mentions Fox News, Gregory, and even Pope Francis are the loudest critics of Biden for his pro-abortion stance. Francis has said in the past that Biden’s faith and his pro-abortion views are a manifestation of “inconsistency.”

Biden himself, on the other hand, praises his administration for consistency. She acknowledges, for example, how consistent she is when it comes to supporting the LGBTQI+ community. “I am proud that my administration has stood for justice since the beginning and worked to ensure that the LGBTQI+ community can live openly, safely, with dignity and with respect. I am proud to have appointed a transgender leader to my administration and to have ended the ban on transgender Americans serving in our military without denying their identity. I am proud to have signed the Respect for Marriage Act, which ensures that every American can marry the person they love,” Biden said on Good Friday this year.

He also promoted easier access to Social Security benefits for transgender Americans, and touted his administration’s support for them. “You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You belong to us. You are America and my entire administration and I have our fingers crossed for you,” he said.
