According to the race reports, 10-year-old Roman Faassen is participating in the Russian karting championship in the mini class this year. He is a descendant of Putin’s daughter Maria Vorontsova.

His father is Vorontsova’s ex-husband Jorrit Joost Faassen. He even allegedly worked for some time in the management of the Russian gas giant Gazprom after establishing a relationship with Marija. Although there were reports that the couple had moved to the Netherlands, Putin himself claimed that both of his daughters live in Moscow.

The grandson of the head of the Kremlin started in five of the six stages of the championship and is now 28th in the championship standings. The last stage of the race was originally supposed to take place this month in Yevpatoriya, Crimea.

However, the city is located about 20 kilometers from the Russian Saki air base, which was rocked by explosions last month. These claimed lives, according to Western sources, they disabled more than half of the combat aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet. Russia claims munitions exploded at the airport.
