The MTU latke was created in the Laboratory of Growth Regulators, which is a joint work of the Palacky University and the Academy v. R. Nisler said that the latke prevents the breakdown of chlorophyll, which then accumulates in plants. Thanks to this, they can absorb more carbon dioxide, produce more sugar and use that sweat to grow the main root, and can absorb more nutrients from the soil.

In an experiment by Poznań University in Poland, when one dose of the product was applied, the yield increased by 13 and 14 percent, and by 19 percent when two doses were applied. Experiments by the IntraCrop company thus showed that when applying nitrogen fertilizers, when using their product, the same yield was achieved as when using natural fertilizers.

Plants suffering from drought or high temperature can have up to 50 percent more chlorophyll after application of this layer, which is very significant, she said.

The academy notes that the car is now produced in Germany, produced in Great Britain, and from 2023 it will also be on the market in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. Future sales to all EU countries, Ukraine, Turkey, Canada and the USA are in full swing.

The editor of the company IntraCrop Mark Palmer said that in Great Britain they tested it on a farm for a number of crops, including, for example, cowpea, wheatgrass, buckwheat, potatoes or fruits and vegetables. He stated that the farm had a 5-15 percent increase in income thanks to the application of the coating and had positive feedback from farmers.

The owner of the patent is the state of experimental botany AV R, which signed a license agreement with the British company IntraCrop this year in Norway.
