On Friday afternoon, the police fished out a human head in the Radbuza river in the center of Pilsen. They discovered it in the section under the weir between Denisov and Angliský nábreží by the embankment. The police are investigating the case. The information was published by the Krimi-Plzeň server. Regional police spokeswoman Eva Červenková said that human remains were found.

“Since yesterday (Friday) afternoon, we have been dealing with the discovery of human remains, which were discovered near Denisova embankment in the Radbuze river. We are investigating all the circumstances of this event, and the Pilsen criminal investigators are dealing with the entire case,” said Eva Červenková.
According to the Krimi-Plzeň server, the head was in a considerable stage of decomposition and had apparently been in the water for a long time. It could allegedly belong to a thirty-two-year-old man who moved among Pilsen’s homeless and whose headless and mutilated body was found in the Berounce River on January 12 last year, the server said.

Policie tyto spekulace zatím odmítla s tím, že je nutné vypracovat odborné expertizy.
Z vraždy bezdomovce plzeňští kriminalisté letos na počátku března obvinili dvaačtyřicetiletého muže. Soud ho poslal do vazby. Vraždu dvaatřicetiletého cizince vyšetřoval speciálně ustavený tým kriminalistů od 12. ledna 2023.
Náhodný kolemjdoucí tehdy uviděl v Berounce v okrajové městské oblasti Plzně nedaleko kostelíka svatého Jiří ve čtvrti Doubravka mužské tělo bez hlavy. Podle neoficiálních informací, které policie nepotvrdila, měla mrtvola také uřezané genitálie a na těle byly další řezné rány.
Policie zpočátku neznala totožnost oběti, později na základě testů DNA potvrdila, že zavražděným mužem je Slovák, který se v Plzni zdržoval v komunitě bezdomovců. V ní také vyšetřovatelé hledali případné svědky.
