“The storms that hit Europe were strong and started the summer storm season,” meteorologist Dagmar Honsová told Novinka.

A wave of strong thunderstorms also crossed Germany. The north of the country was hit on Thursday afternoon. For example, it rained 36 liters per square meter in Dahlem, Berlin, within one hour.

They should bring rain with them, it could rain up to 25 mm in some places. We don’t expect tornadoes, hail, supercells and the like,” added Honsová.

According to her, storms should appear in the mountains on Saturday.
