“Freedom celebrations are always an important event for the entire city and the entire region. I consider it extremely important to remember these historical events and it is an honor for our club that we can now connect them with our game. We believe that it will be very interesting for the fans and, in connection with the match, it is an ideal invitation to a Sunday afternoon in Štruncové sady,” the club website quoted CEO and chairman of the board Viktoria Adolf Šádek.

Young and old fans can look forward to a special program. For example, for a demonstration of a military helicopter from the Líně Air Rescue Service, for a unit of military dog handlers, or they will be able to test their physical fitness while rolling tires or running across a rope.

In addition to this program, a fan zone full of competitions and games will be prepared for fans. The program for the P and R sectors will start at noon, it will include, for example, shooting at the goalkeeper with the measurement of the speed of the shot and other competitions for interesting prizes.

“Viktoria Plzeň belongs to a strong brand that represents the city of Pilsen, and that is why I am glad that a strong partnership is also at the Freedom Festival, which is a matter of heart for the people of Pilsen. It is not for nothing that the slogan, one city, one heart, has existed for several years. That says it all,” said the mayor of the city of Pilsen, Roman Zarzycký.
