Time travel in a million ways? That’s May on streaming platforms

The series based on the sci-fi book of the same name by Blake Crouch, a bestseller of 2016, relies on familiar faces in addition to a complex story. Starring Jennifer Connelly (Pure Soul, Ice Ark) and Joel Edgerton (The King, Underground Railroad).

The story follows a physics professor who is kidnapped out of nowhere and thrown into an alternate version of his life. In a labyrinth of different realities, he then tries to return to his real family and save them from himself. Dramatic sci-fi with dark thriller elements will launch on Apple TV+ on May 8.

The third season of the love-it-or-hate series focuses on the story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. After Colin returns from his travels, he discovers that Penelope is no longer the innocent girl he remembers.

As she tries to regain her favor, Penelope struggles to reconcile her secret identity as writer Lady Whistledown with her personal ambitions and newfound confidence. The third season promises more romance, mystery and changes in the main characters than in the previous two series. The first episodes of the new Bridgertons will land on Netflix on May 16.

The series with an exciting story full of mystics, Indians and unexpected twists is worth watching also because of the interesting acting performance of the main character, Josh Brolin. The second season of the sci-fi western, which will hopefully clear up a few more questions from the previous series, will be available on Prime Video from May 16.

The latest addition to the already very comprehensive series that began publication in 2010. This time it follows a new group of female students at a prestigious summer school. The story focuses on the secrets and intrigues of the group as all the members are gradually drawn into a series of strange events.

The previews promise a combination of suspense, young romance and strange mysteries, enticing both new and regular fans of the original or follow-up Lying Beauties. The eight-part mystery series will air on HBO Max starting May 9.

Starring Jennifer Lopez, the film takes place in a world full of futuristic technology. In it, an anti-artificial intelligence fighter named Atlas Shepherd joins a mission to find a robot with whom she has a mysterious past. The story follows her fight to save the future, where she teams up with unlikely allies and faces deep moral dilemmas.
