The Slovak national team can count on another pair of overseas reinforcements at the World Cup: both defender Patrik Koch and forward Miloš Kelemen will arrive.
Slovakian hockey does not have many representatives in the NHL, except for the injured defender Erik Černák, but all the approached players accepted the invitation from the popular coach Craig Ramsay.
And so a very interesting team is formed…
Twenty seven years old
Patrick Koch
defender, 27 years old
” href=”https://www.hokej.cz/hrac/patrik-koch/10110092″>Patrik Koch has had his first season in America, where he went last summer from extra-league Vítkovice: he only got a chance in one game in Arizona NHL, otherwise started on the farm in Tucson (65 games, 1+14).
The predatory forward worked in the same organization for the second year
Miloš Kelemen
attacker, 24 years old
” href=”https://www.hokej.cz/hrac/milos-kelemen/10098742″>Miloš Kelemen: started ten games for the Coyotes (0+1), had a record of sixteen goals and sixteen assists in 54 duels in the AHL .
Six days before the start of the World Cup, the basic group of which will be played by the Slovaks in Ostrava, there are eight names from overseas on the Slovakian roster: in addition to Kelemen and Koch, we are talking about Juraj Slafkovský, Tomáš Tatar, Šimon Nemc, Martin Fehérváry, Martin Pospíšil and Pavlo Regenda.
