She became famous thanks to the action series Fast and Furious, but everyone fell in love with her only as Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot is also a mother of four. Her husband is developer Yaron Varsano, whom she married back in 2008. But there are a lot of other things you might not know about this woman.

Gal Gadot was born on April 30, 1985 in Israel, she grew up east of Tel Aviv. Like her sister, she was raised in the Jewish faith, which she still professes today. As a child she adored all kinds of sports and from the age of twelve she also danced. No wonder her mother was a high school teacher and taught physical education.

She failed in Miss Universe

After high school, she won the Miss Israel contest. She also participated in the Miss Universe competition, but did not place in the top ranks. At the age of 20, she entered the mandatory two years of service in the Israel Defense Forces, where she served as a combat fitness instructor. Already at this time, she met her future husband, Yaron Varsan. After completing her mandatory military service, she continued modeling and also studied law and international relations. In 2007, however, she switched to acting. She debuted in the Israeli series Shemesh and Bubot. Two years later, she broke into Hollywood. She even aspired to the role of a Bond girl in Quantum Of Solace, but in the end Olga Kurylenko won over her.

Fast and furious to the stars

However, she did not have to mourn. She was immediately noticed by other filmmakers. Alongside Vin Diesel and the now-deceased Paul Walker, she starred in Fast and Furious as well as the sequels Fast and Furious 5, 6 and 7. In 2016, she shone in the action comedy Spy on the Side. However, she only achieved her greatest success with the arrival of Wonder Woman and the Justice League. The sequel to Wonder Woman 1984 and Zack Snyder’s Justice League also garnered reviews. Last year, we could see the Israeli beauty in the movie Rachel Stone: Bet on the Heart (Heart Of Stone) together with Jamie Dornan or in the tenth installment of Fast and Furious.

The biopic Kleopatra should premiere this year. The Egyptian ruler Gal will be portrayed by Claudette Colbert or Elizabeth Taylor. Next year, we can look forward to the continuation of the audience hit Red Notice, where Gal Gadot will play again with Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson, she will be transformed into the character of the evil queen in the new version of Disney’s Snow White. However, some of the films in which the actress starred were banned in a few Arab countries. For a long time, she acts as a big supporter of her native country, which does not please the heads of state promoting an independent Palestinian state. In 2019, she and her husband founded their own production company Pilot Wave.

They got married in 2008 and three years later welcomed their eldest daughter, Alma. The second daughter Maya followed in 2017, Danielle in 2021, this year the four-leaf clover of daughters was completed by Ori. Even today, after 18 years together, she and her husband treat each other as if they had barely been together for a few weeks.
