Anniversary of the coronation of Charles III.

--

Great Britain at the coronation of their king she had been preparing for weeks and almost everyone wanted to see her. There were more than two million enthusiastic fans of the royal family on the streets of London alone, and they were not deterred even by the typical rainy London weather. Not surprisingly, they haven’t experienced anything like this since the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on June 2, 1953. The British king plans to celebrate the year in office, which he probably imagined to be somewhat less dramatic, in complete silence and privacy. Exactly in the style of her mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Coronation of the British King Charles III.

Hard to say what Charles III. he was racing his head in the morning preparing for his most important day, probably worried that everything would work and there would be no snags. He could breathe a sigh of relief in the evening. Everything went according to plan, with dignity and with the proper pomp that belongs to such an important event. The only shadow over the whole dignified ceremony could be the keenly watched early departure of his younger brother Harry’s son. He finally arrived in London, although it was speculated whether he would do so after his relocation across the ocean and the affairs that accompanied his departure. He arrived alone, entered the cathedral with a lot of attention from the press and cameras, and immediately disappeared in complete silence after the ceremony.

Why did Harry leave so quickly?

In the end, the meeting with the family did not happen at all, although many sources said that he was invited to a classic afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace. He didn’t even speak to his father or brother, rushing to be back in California with his family as soon as possible. His son Prince Archie for he was celebrating his fourth birthday and his mother, Duchess Meghan, was planning a grand celebration for him. The coincidence of dates was purely coincidental, but many wondered at that moment if the celebration of the little prince could wait? After all, the coronation is a much more important and dignified event…

And year after year came together

Exactly one year after the famous moment, things are a little different. Charles III he has hopefully had successful cancer treatment and is slowly returning to his duties (when his daughter-in-law Princess Kate will do so is not yet certain, but everyone wishes her a speedy recovery). According to reports from the palace reported by a British daily Timesthe king feels great impatience, he would like to return to full work as soon as possible, but the doctors’ advice is holding him back.

Nevertheless, at the end of April he and his wife Camilla already visited a specialized oncology center, where he spoke to patients, a few days ago he went to watch horse races at the Pony Club in Windsor, and this week he is to move to London, where he will participate in the first garden party of the year at Buckingham Palace.

Will the king meet his son?

Prince Harry is also going to Great Britain this week, who is heading here for a ceremony in St. Paul’s Cathedral, to be held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games – the games for military veterans that he founded. He will thus find himself only about three kilometers from the place where his father will be at that moment. As the Daily Mail writes, the prince would very much like to meet him.

They are said to have been in regular contact since the announcement that the King was suffering from cancer and his then-quick visits in February, and Harry would very much like to see his father again. Grandchildren, whom the king has not seen for many months, but he will certainly not bring. He will arrive alone again, his wife Meghan joining him only a day later. They will visit Nigeria together on Thursday, which will be their first visit to the West African country. And as the Daily Mail wrote, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will then fly straight back to the US without stopping in Britain.
