The Ministry of Religious Affairs will provide the public with the opportunity to go to the preparation of the so-called Rmčev extension program (RMP), i.e. a document according to which the curriculum should be changed in individual subjects on the basic courses. The public will be able to comment on the proposal for two months, by means of a questionnaire.

The revision of the lengthy program is due, since the last version has been around for 20 years, Minister of Education Mikul Bek (STAN) wrote. According to him, the main thing is to modernize the extension programs with regard to the development of the world and technology. It is not a revolution, but an evolution, added Bek.

According to the ministry, we need to move away from the encyclopaedic approach and move towards the adoption of things at home. Clem is to have a better relationship with what is going on, said Deputy Minister Ji Nantl. According to him, international comparisons show that even in some literacy skills he does not achieve the best results. For example, 30 percent of 15-year-old children cannot stand.

Newly, two basic competencies should be monitored: tennis and writing and mathematical and logical.

Break down inequalities

According to the department, another goal of the law is to help eliminate inequality between women, which is a problem in some areas. It is also one of the Ministry’s priorities, which is being discussed. We want to prepare children for the world, Bek assessed.

The fact that the RVP needs to be revised has been talked about for a long time, roughly since 2016. Experts at the ministry started to prepare the concept in 2021. Experts at the National Pedagogical Institute (NPI), of which there were approximately 600 in total, worked on the law.

According to the new law, Vuka in basic classes should be compulsory from the academic year 2027/28. From the 2025/26 school year, clubs can use it voluntarily. The resort would like to fully approve the modernized bedroom in the second half of the summer year.
