The police reported on the case from last December in February, saying that they were looking for a group of girls who were caught on a security camera.
“All four girls were identified. On the basis of the investigation and other facts found, the criminal investigators currently suspect two of the girls of the said action. Considering the young age of the girls, we will not comment further on the case at the moment,” police spokeswoman Eva Kropáčová said on Tuesday about developments in the case.
On December 12, a primary school student became the victim of a robbery. According to the investigators, a group of girls approached her from behind on the street at a fast food restaurant in Makovského Street in Prague 6 around 3:00 p.m. The police did not state the age of the victim or the suspects.
“They grabbed her hair and turned her head back, restricting her movement. Under the threat of violence, they stole her mobile phone worth approximately thirty thousand crowns. They then left the place to an unknown destination,” Kropáčová said earlier, adding that the police are investigating the case as a robbery with a penalty of up to ten years in prison.
