The spring march in Pilsen will take participants to the water garden and Sofronka

A spring march takes place on the first Saturday in April, which takes participants to many interesting places.

The spring march from Rybarna to Sofronka will take place on Saturday, April 6. The start is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fisherman’s Wharf near the dam of the Bolevecký Pond.

At the starting point, an educational water garden with wetland flowers will be open to all interested parties.

“The route will then lead through the recreation area of ​​Bolevecké rybníky. It will be approximately four kilometers long, and the participants of the march will have to complete various tasks aimed at knowledge of nature, at nine manned stations and at ten additional stops, where they will be able to unravel mysteries.” invited to the spring march the deputy mayor of the city of Pilsen for the area of ​​transport and the environment Aleš Tolar, whose responsibility also includes the administration of the public estate of the city of Pilsen.

On the way, you can visit the city garden by the Košinář pond or the lower grounds of the Sofronk Arboretum, which will be open to other interested members of the public on this day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The route is suitable for prams and wheelchair users.

“The end of the event, with the possibility of roasting the burritos brought with you, will be at the so-called sand classroom in the upper part of the Sofronk Arboretum. After handing in a wanderer’s sheet with stamps from individual locations and a filled-in secret sheet, the participants of the spring march will receive a Memorial Sheet.” added Aleš Tolar.
