After years of waiting, not only a new railway station, but also a completely new footbridge opened for passengers at the Paradise Garden in the Prague 14 district, which will make it easier to transfer from the metro to the train and to pass through the area in general.

Trains of five lines have been stopping at the new Prague-Rajská zahrada railway station since December last year, but until now there was no high-quality and fast connection with the Černý Most housing estate, so far it was only in the direction of the Hutě section. However, the stop is now completely wheelchair accessible thanks to the opening of the footbridge across Chlumecká Street.

The new Čitelná Praha navigation system is intended to help people find their way around the area.

Technically, these are two simply laid lattice steel footbridges and two towers to connect the height levels at the ends of the footbridges. The towers contain elevator shafts and staircases. However, there are still no elevators in the Rajská zahrada metro station.

The municipal district of Prague 14 has therefore already asked the municipality of the capital city of Prague for help. Metropole takes this into account in its plans. Hopefully, the wait will be significantly shorter than it was in the case of the Rajská zahrada railway station.
