Czech Republic has the 9th highest level of solidarity and solidarity in the EU, and its willingness to help

--

In the new analysis of the Prosperity and Financial Health Index, the Czech Republic ranked 9th in the EU in terms of social solidarity and kindness. The relatively good result was due to my willingness to help. 63% of them helped an unknown hunter during the last month. In addition, people can often rely on the support of their loved ones, in case of emergency, 9 out of 10 people have someone to turn to, despite the fact that during the last 4 years, according to this population, it has decreased and is returning to pre-Covid values. On the other hand, the integrity of Czech society is reduced by the long-term narrow door in government and the problem of corruption. In the world of corruption, the Czech Republic was placed 16th in the list of the 27 European countries.

Solidarity and the door of Czech society is the 9th highest in the EU, according to the current analysis of the Prosperity and Financial Health Index. The Czech Republic suffered a similar result in the past years as well. In general, social integrity can be found in Northern and Central Europe, with the exception of Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, while the Balkan and Eastern European countries, on the other hand, achieved worse results.

even if they have many relatives who can ask for help, don’t be afraid, but they won’t be able to help

If only a few people have someone close to whom I can turn in case of need, in recent years there have been those who have to rely only on themselves. Whereas in 2020, 96.4% of people had someone to turn to when they dreamed about the following year. In 2023, only 92.7% of them had, explains Milan Mak from the Europe in Data project. From a long-term point of view, however, it may not be so much an increase as a return to the Czech standard. It is true that the year 2020 was atypical due to covid and the current values fluctuated at a similar level as they were before covid-19, dov Mak.

The data of the Prosperity Index also answer this. While according to the index from 2022, the Czech Republic had the highest number of people to turn to in the EU, according to the current one, the Czech Republic fell to the 6th position.

but at the same time don’t be shy to help strangers. According to the data of the World Giving Index 2023, 63% of them helped someone (in the last month before the data was collected), which is the 3rd place among the 27 European ones. First of all, the positive thing is that this is an increase of 8 pecks compared to 2022.

At the same time, he also dedicates himself to charity, even though it is a one-time and spontaneous act. According to research by the Ipsos Association of Social Responsibility, three out of ten contribute financially. but they want to know what exactly their pensions will be used for. Therefore, please send your pensions to specific children, the handicapped, the poor, victims of disasters and prioritize aid in the Czech Republic. The most used SMS DMS, which celebrates 20 years of existence this year. During that time, according to the data, Fra drc and the Association of mobile phone operators have collected one hundred billion crowns. In addition to individuals, foundations and endowment funds also rely on charity in Esk. Most of them, including the Esk Spoitelna Foundation, are long-term interested in the field of extension and research. The foundation’s priority is to support the development of education based on competences, which will lead to independent decision-making and financial health of children and young people, explains Dana Brandenburg from the esk spoitelny Foundation.

The long-term credibility of the government is the 16th highest in the EU

Czechoslovak status is relatively recent in the respect of the judiciary. Judgment in 65% of the population, which is the 11th highest response in the EU. On the contrary, there is more skepticism towards the world government, which according to the Eurobarometer, over the last 10 years, on average, 29.1% of voters, i.e. the 16th highest in the EU.

If we rely on current data from the Center for Public Money Research from November, we find that the current government deficit is below the long-term average. According to them, 20% of the population owns the government. On the contrary, the president (54%) and the mayor of the municipality (66%) are the most important.

This is not the worst government door you can remember. The current door of government is relatively very narrow, even if historically it is not completely flat. However, unless the short-term episodes are usually associated with directly culminating government or coalition crises, essentially only the government of Peter Nease in 2012 and 2013 was on the way, not the government of Peter Fiala. explains Jan Ervenka, analyst at the Center for Public Population Research. The simultaneous decline of the door involved it with the progress of covid, which was followed by the energy crisis and high inflation. This trend is still continuing and the public is not even aware of any other points of the current government agenda, such as the abolition of the idea of the unusual valorization of money, the purchase of bonds or the generous support of Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. dov crimson.

Czechia in the EU is in the grip of corruption

Perceived corruption is the indicator in which, after a short period of time, the two governments in Rome saw solidarity in society the lowest. The international non-profit organization Transparency International monitors this long-term on the basis of various indicators, which are not based on the public money, but on data from the World Bank, the views of researchers and people who participate in trade and business in the given country. In terms of corruption, Czechia achieved the 12th worst score in the EU, namely 57 points out of 100, which is the value of the answer to corruption.

There is one reason in particular for the below-average score that Transparency International rated the Czech Republic: domestic government officials and the opposition cannot be programmed to eat corruption. The anti-corruption legislation is known with the following aa after emergencies and complaints from the European Commission. Due to the amendment, it will not take place, or it is only a cosmetic right without a comprehensive and effective impact, uvd Transparency International in all materials.

The indicator of perceived corruption also allows for global comparisons, in which last year Czechia occupied the 41st position out of 180 monitored countries. A similar result was achieved by Qatar, Botswana and the island state of Dominica. If this is not a visible result, he also placed a European country, namely Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. On the contrary, in Germany, the situation of the parties in terms of perceived corruption is the 9th best in the world, and the Days are the best.

In the international comparison of freedom of the press, the Czech Republic fared significantly better, ranking 12th in the EU and 14th in the world out of 180 monitored countries. Despite the relatively good result in Germany compared to other countries, the situation is not ideal. Researchers should draw attention to the concentration of Czech ownership among a few private entities and media magnates and to the pressure of the public media.

In addition to equal freedom of the press, we also included an assessment of media literacy, which is linked to the perception of freedom of the press and the degree of openness in it. According to the Media Literacy Index, we are currently in 15th place out of all the evaluated countries, so compared to the previous period, we have stuck to those points that we are among the best performers. If we were to evaluate only the EU countries, we are in 11th place with the average literacy rate. Therefore, we have room for improvement, while media literacy leads the Nordic countries, which are at stake in the freedom of both copper and two governments, to Tereza Hrtsov, esk spoitelna analyst.
