He said that they had no objections to the expert findings. “Therefore, we will not ask the Czech School Inspectorate to investigate or revise the matter,” said Vlach.

Such a step can be taken by the new school management. But the councilor does not expect that either. “I have no indication that the new management would give the initiative. And I hope it stays that way,” he added. He recalled that he himself conducted an internal investigation on the nine-year-old and came to similar findings.

The Deputy of the Czech School Inspectorate, Karel Kovář, stated that there was bullying at the school, as evidenced by the conclusions of the complaints. These related to not addressing bullying and not ensuring safety for the girl. “We evaluated both as reasonable,” he emphasized.

He added that the school had a number of indications that indicated the mental discomfort of the student. However, it did not take any effective measures until last autumn.

Former director Dagmar Hitková, who ended her position on March 25, strongly objected to the aforementioned conclusions. She requested an investigation and hearing of all the concerned cantors. According to them, they worked with the girl for a long time, she even got her own assistant. Her parents reported the bullying only at the beginning of January this year, after which the director immediately contacted the police.

According to testimony, the girl was the victim of gross bullying by three classmates. Parents of other children also complained.
