Belgian artist J. Bernardt will present a new record in Prague

--

Belgian singer, songwriter, musician, producer, engineer, programmer, member of the alternative rock band Balthazar and also a solo performer – all this is Jinte Deprez aka J. Bernardt. In 2016, the aforementioned band took a break, and Jinte became J. Bernardt. A charismatic musician with a captivating voice, who is not afraid to play with electronics, pop, r’n’b and anything else that comes to hand in music. He will head to Prague’s Futura with a new album on December 8. Tickets for CZK 440 + fees are on sale on the Futura website and GoOut.net. Tickets on the spot will cost 540 CZK. While J. Bernardt’s debut record “Running Days” was a mixture of mainly electronica, with the new album, which will be released in mid-May, he will grind into the true musical old school. He built the new album around a band made up of his friends and embarks on an honest musical creation full of dramatic emotions. And yet, according to the singles released so far, the new album does not lack technological gadgets and fresh ideas. The new album is called “Contigo”, which means “With you” in Spanish. It is a dramatic, colorful, exciting and compelling work. Thanks to the wonderful melodies, vocals and tricks of the master of studio creation, musical inventor and singer, at least according to what can be heard so far, the collection will be lively, original and will simply entertain the listeners. “Contigo” is about something that everyone knows well. It is about a breakup and explores all its stages: shock, sadness, anger, denial, pain and acceptance. And yet it still is “cruelly romantic”. For some, such a description may be too complicated, it may seem that it is something impracticable that simply cannot be put on the record. But everyone who has ever listened to J. Bernardt’s compositions knows that it is possible and that the album will be exactly as the creators describe it. Come see for yourself live.
