Many people will surely recognize this church from the photos. It is a tabernacle in Vysluní, nicknamed the cathedral of the Ore Mountains. In the past, it was close to complete destruction several times, yet, or because of that, it became a very popular location for film crews. For example, the shots for Forgotten Light directed by Vladimír Michálek, the German fairy tale Lenya, were shot here, we can recognize him in Zelenka’s film The Devil’s Year, the American series The Wheel of Time or the year before last year’s foreign war film Blood and Gold. The German metal band Rammstein filmed a hot clip for the song Feuer frei!
The monumental Roman Catholic church in Vysluní was built in the 1850s. It has been protected as a cultural monument since 1998 and belongs to the city. Its length reaches 35 meters and width 20 meters, it used to have five altars. What is the name of this church?
