Only 38.7% of Americans approve of the work of the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, for his 13th quarter in office. None of the next nine presidents elected to their first term had a lower average than Dwight Eisenhower.

Eisenhower had the best average job rating with 73.2%. Ronald Reagan came in second with 54.5%, whose presidency is often seen as the beginning of a new era of conservatism in the United States.

Besides Biden, only George HW Bush (41.8%) was rated below 45 percent in 1992.

Biden’s predecessors, President Donald Trump and Barack Obama, averaged 46.8% and 45.9% over the same period.

The latest quarterly average for Biden is the lowest ever of his presidency so far, though not significantly different from the previous quarter’s 39.0%.

During the 13th quarter, the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza continued, as did the increase in illegal crossings on the US southern border and the war in Ukraine. In February, a bipartisan immigration reform bill before the Senate failed to pass. And while macroeconomic indicators, particularly job growth, remain positive, there have been signs that inflation may rise again, according to the Gallup survey.

“With about six months to go until Election Day, Biden is in a weaker position than any previous incumbent, and therefore faces a higher re-election task than before,” the company writes Gallup.

In addition, according to another Gallup survey, only 30% of Americans think that Biden would be a good president by March 2024, which represents a decrease of 6 percentage points compared to the same survey from the end of July and August 2020.

35% of Americans think that Trump would be a good president, and 29% think that neither of the two candidates would be good.

According to the evaluation of world leaders of the company FOR Morning Consulting Biden is not at his best either. Only 39% of respondents approve of his government, 9% have no opinion and 53% of respondents do not approve of him as president of the United States.

Best among world leaders is Prime Minister Nadendra Modi of India, with 75% approval and only 18% disapproval. In second place is the recently elected Argentine President Javier Milei – 66% of respondents approve of him as a world leader.

The fewest people agree with the government of Fumio Kishida from Japan (16%). Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala is in second last place with 21%.
