The city hall of Bento has been trying to get the figures of the drinking water ratio and to relieve the local residents from excessive tourism. A few years ago, for example, the authorities banned the passage of large summer ships through the Giudecca Canal past St. Mark’s Square, parking fees are constantly increasing, and the size of tourist groups is limited.
