Worst situation since March 2022. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the first aid from the US military package for 61 billion dollars has already arrived. He spoke about it at a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who unexpectedly visited Kyiv on Monday.
“Some things have already started coming, I won’t go into detail about what exactly. Unfortunately, everything is not yet available so that we can supplement our army and occupy the appropriate number of brigades,” Zelensky’s Ukrinform agency quoted him as saying. According to him, the situation on the battlefield directly depends on the speed of ammunition deliveries, and the president therefore called for their acceleration.
