The men’s relay changed its composition by two names compared to the start and thus sent the best that we currently have at our disposal. In the sixth lane, he knocked into the blocks as usual Matej Krsek. This managed to pass between the top three. Before He welcomes Müller however, two rivals got on the run and it was very difficult for him to fight his way up the order. Michal Desensky so he took the pin to the fourth position. He kept this for the finisher Patrick Šorm. Dalibor Kupka’s protégé then pulled his rivals back powerfully in the finish line. He still managed to get ahead of the Zambian, but he was only nine hundredths of a second behind the Pole at the finish line, which was exactly the time period that separated our relay from advancing to the Olympic Games in Paris. The resulting time was 3:03.00. The Spaniards dominated this run in 3:02.39.

The final race was clearly dominated by the Botswana national team, which achieved its first record in this world relay event, in this year’s world best performance of 2:59.11. The silver South African Republic did not get under three minutes (3:00.75). The bronze goes to Belgium (3:01.16).

The women’s 4×400 meter relay also started with the strongest possible line-up. As in the run-up, she took on the opening section Lourdes Gloria Manuel and, like Krsek, she passed in contact with the fastest opponents. Tereza Petržilková then fell to fourth position at the end of the second section. However, it was still a balanced fight for advancement to the sports festival under the five rings. Also Lada Vondrová she subsequently passed the pin Barbora Maliková as fourth. Our finisher improved the Czech team by one place, but even the quality time of 3:27.76 was not enough for the desired second advancing position. Specifically, our fourth-ranking women lost 46 hundredths to Spain. In addition to progressing to Paris, the representative women from the Iberian Peninsula could also celebrate a new national record of 3:27.30. The Belgian women ran the fastest in 3:26.79.

In the final, the American women completely dominated, who did not give their rivals the slightest chance, when they reigned in this year’s fastest world time of 3:21.70 and won the fourth championship for their country at the World Relays. Polish women (3:24.71) and Canadian women (3:25.17) accompanied them to the podium.

The men’s 4×100 meter relay started with the same composition as in yesterday’s heat, in which it presented itself with a time of 39.31 and the line-up Zdeněk Stromšík, Jan Veleba, Jan Jirka and Ondřej Macík she hoped for his improvement. Although our sprinters achieved this, the performance of 39.20 was not the progress they would have liked and it was only enough for sixth place in the run, thus far behind the advancing positions towards the Olympic Games. The Germans were the fastest in this run in 38.57.

The star-studded relay team of the United States of America rejoiced at the overall victory. Finisher Noah Lyles brought the pin to the finish line in this year’s best world performance of 37.40. The Canadians sprinted for silver in 37.89 and the Olympic champions from Italy took the bronze (38.13).

The Czech mixed relay team decided not to participate in the corrective run, as his bronze time from the World Championships in Budapest, 3:11.98, gives him a fairly decent chance of qualifying for the Olympics based on his position in the TOP list. Our best players completed the men’s and women’s 4×400 meter relay teams. In this discipline as well, the United States of America team reached the highest place, which additionally decorated its triumph by further improving the championship record. The American men and women beat their own record from yesterday’s start by another 79 hundredths. The Netherlands won silver (3:11.45), which narrowly defeated Ireland (3:11.53).

The dominance of the Americans in Nassau was completed by the women’s 4×100 meter relay. Even here the stars and stripes did not find a conqueror, and this time too this success was crowned with a new World Relays record. The winning time of 41.85 meant for the American women a three-hundredth improvement on the historical maximum of their compatriots from the opening year of this competition, when the Bahamas also hosted this match. The fight for silver was much more even, and the silver French women (42.75) had the upper hand over the bronze British women (42.80).
