F1 boss Stefano Domenicali thinks Max Verstappen’s absolute reign will not last long.

Formula 1 has been completely ruled by Max Verstappen for the third year already, who has won more than 3/4 of all races since the start of the 2022 season.

And even if the Dutchman did not win the last time in Miami, there is no indication yet that he should lose his privileged position.

However, according to the boss of the queen of motorsport Stefan Domenicali, the Red Bull pilot’s sovereignty could soon come to an end.

“It’s certainly not like we’re producing false results just because someone is doing better. This is not the goal of this sport,” said the Italian in an interview with ESPN, who denied that F1 would artificially disrupt Red Bull’s dominance with something (for example, by changing the rules).

“Throughout the history of Formula 1, there have been cycles where we have had great drivers who won for many years, one race after another. Now we have to respect that Max has been the best driver lately, but maybe someone will appear soon to take his place,” said Domenicali, who opposes the idea that current F1 is boring.

“I would say that there are very few fans with that opinion. We are sold out everywhere and our numbers are growing. I think these fans should start focusing on our sport because big things are happening. All cars are close to each other. Therefore, anything can happen within one moment. I would recommend them to stay with us,” added the Italian.
