Clemson baseball will play USC Upstate on Tuesday at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville.
It will be the second of the Tigers’ three games against the Spartans this season. Clemson won the first meeting 12-6 at Clemson’s Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Feb. 22 behind a school record-tying three home runs from Will Taylor.
The Tigers (24-3, 7-2 ACC), ranked No. 2 in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll, have won nine of their past 10 games and are atop the ACC’s Atlantic Division. They just took a series victory at Miami, their 10th consecutive series win in league play.
USC Upstate (18-11, 7-2 Big South) split two games against Clemson last season and finished runner-up in both the Big South’s regular season and in the conference tournament.
Clemson is 30-9 all-time in games played at Fluor Field.
