Although he has an office ORA with two unique offices in Znojmo and Kutná Hora, today it operates on a nationwide scale. Prague studio XTOPIX focuses its projects mainly on the territory of the capital city and its surroundings, but maintains ties to western Bohemia as well – it participates in the long-term architectural transformation of the town of Planá, the birthplace of Barbora Buryšková. Among other things, there stands the award-winning design of Kinanekin, a new cultural space in Planá.

The entrance fee for the event is CZK 60. Tickets will be available at the door and in advance.

At the birth of the studio original regional architecture (ORA) was founded in 2014 by architects Jan Veisser and Jan and Barbora Hora. Thanks to this, the office is straddled between two places – while Jan Veisser is connected to Kutná Hora, Horovi operates in Znojmo. All three founding members of the studio gathered study or work experience abroad – in the Netherlands, Norway or Turkey. Although in recent years, thanks to competitions, they have been working on larger-scale projects, the key theme of their creations, for which they have already won numerous awards, has long been the small town and its context. This is also reflected in their further work – for example, Jan Hora participated as one of the authors in the publication Znojmo 1918–2020, he also designed the spatial solution for the exhibition of the same name.

Prague studio XTOPIX founded in 2011 by Pavel and Barbora Buryšek. The studio deals with projects of various scales, from the reconstruction of houses or brownfields for cultural purposes, the construction of new schools and kindergartens to urban planning and the revitalization of squares and public spaces. At the same time, it focuses on projects with a social impact; in the long term, he also tries to connect prominent artistic personalities, architects and various institutions. His project for the cultural space Kinonekino in Planá was nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award for 2019. The same project received the Prize of the Ministry for Regional Development as part of the Czech Architecture Prize 2018 and became Stavba in 2018 in the Pilsen region. The xtopix office has also succeeded in a number of competitions – especially for school building designs.
