King Charles III (75) opens the gates of Balmoral Castle in Scotland to the public from May 4 to August 11. This is the private property of the royal family and the favorite residence of the poor Queen Elizabeth II. (†96).

Every year during the summer holidays, the empress invited her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the estate to go on hikes, rides and hunts together. She also died at this exact place, on September 8, 2022.

The Queen delighted in inviting prime ministers and ministers to this summer country residence. In Scotland, new members were often introduced to the family, including Princess Diana (†36). In the Crown series, this ritual is called the Balmoral Test.

But those interested in visiting this place will dig deep into their pockets. The price of the ticket is one hundred pounds (around 3000 crowns) per person. If you want to experience a traditional afternoon tea in addition to a tour of the interior, you have to pay 150 pounds (around 5,000 crowns).

Despite the price, there is a huge demand for tickets, which is proven by the fact that most of them are already hopelessly sold out.
