About the nomination vm from the company. It’s certainly nice, but I would say that in the end, my colleagues should be happy about it, not J, smile at the Ondej Zuntych newspaper, which is a nominee for MF DNES in the summer of the Newspaper Awards.

He deserved the nomination for the award with his interview from June 2023. At that time, he interviewed the 50-year-old tramp Dalibor Balut, who traveled seven thousand kilometers on horseback. He traveled through Austria and the surrounding towns, and in order to inspire others, he took a camera on his travels and posted videos on the Internet.

He (Balut) wasn’t completely ignorant at the time, but I didn’t snort anything when I got up. That interview, and the subsequent nomination for him, is therefore also a reward for Dalibor for what he has done, added the MF DNES newspaper, according to him it is good to know that even regional themes can be given space in such contests.

Ondej Zuntych studied journalism at the Masaryk University in Brno. He worked in the editorial offices of Denk in Brno and in Olomouc, and led the renewed Hanck newspaper. From April 2021, for the regional area of ​​MF DNES in the Olomouc region.

Journalist prize under the OSF Foundation since 2010 and appreciates journalistic work that captures the issues of the day in society in an interesting way. By the 14th of March, the public and members of the village newspaper had nominated 890 candidates. In the Regional Journalism category, you will compete for the jury. The prize is awarded in a total of 13 categories. The official closing ceremony will take place on May 6, 2024.
