A huge tragedy occurred over the weekend in the village of Klenovec in Slovakia. A 30-year-old driver crashed into a turning car at the intersection there for unknown reasons. His car then veered off the road and came to rest against a concrete power pole, snapping it in half. The man did not have a chance to survive, he died on the spot, the police of the Banskobystrica Region reported on Facebook.

The accident took place on Sunday around four o’clock in the afternoon. At the beginning of the village of Klenovec, there is an intersection where the driver hit a turning car with the left front of the car. As a result, he went off the road. “While doing so, he caught three trees and subsequently crashed into a concrete power pole, which he broke,” the police said on Facebook.
