12:00 – Europe did not maintain the morning’s positive tuning, BCPP in plus thanks to CEZ and domestic banks, euro stronger, oil at USD 88, gold uncertain

During this morning, the European stock markets did not maintain the morning’s optimistic mood, and around lunchtime they generally weaken slightly. Investors are mainly looking forward to the Fed’s decision on setting rates, or accompanying comments, as no change to the current setting is expected from the decision itself.

Attention is drawn to the increase in the share price of the Dutch Philips by about 45% in response to an unexpectedly “beneficial” settlement of a lawsuit regarding a device against sleep apnea.

The euro starts the new week with a slight strengthening against the dollar.

The koruna is weaker against the euro and, conversely, slightly stronger against the dollar.

Oil starts the week near the $88 per barrel Brent level.

Gold is still somewhat uncertain.

BCPP starts the week in a slight plus thanks to interest in CEZ shares and domestic banks. Optimism is tempered somewhat by a slightly sell-off sentiment on Erste.

After the annual report for the past year 2023, Primoca shares are back above the CZK 900 mark.

The pill, on the other hand, deepens its historical low and falls below the level of CZK 180.
