After a series of three declines in a row, the Prague Stock Exchange gained almost half a percent today

Prague – The Prague Stock Exchange headed up today after the previous three declines. The PX index rose by 0.47 percent to 1550.68 points. Most of the titles did well, the emission of the Primoco UAV drone manufacturer grew most significantly. This follows from data on the stock exchange’s website.

Eight of the 11 titles influencing the value of the PX index closed today’s trading with a profit. Two issues, on the other hand, were losing, and the shares of the metallurgical company Gevorkyan stagnated. “The volume of deals today was above average, for around 540 billion crowns,” said Wood & Company broker Vladimír Vávra.

The most significant increase, by five percent, was recorded by the securities of Primoco UAV SE. Trading closed at a price of 945 crowns per share.

Considering the sales volumes, however, the insurance company VIG or the energy group ČEZ had a greater influence on the development of the index. The VIG issue strengthened by 1.65 percent to 740 crowns per share. The semi-state energy company’s securities rose by 1.17 percent to 864.50 crowns per piece.

For example, Komerční banka did well in banking securities. Its shares increased by 0.35 percent to 865 crowns. On the other hand, Erste Bank lost, by 0.76 percent to 1107.50 crowns per share.

Kofola was also among the losing titles today. Its shares closed the trading session at a price of 270 crowns after a discount of 0.74 percent.

The koruna was traded today around 17:00 at the rate of 25.16 CZK/EUR and 23.48 CZK/USD. Compared to the previous conclusion, the Czech currency improved against the dollar by four pennies, while it stagnated against the euro. This follows from the data of the Patria Online server around 17:00 today.
