Description: Prime Minister Petr Fiala at the CIA headquarters in Langley

Let’s be proud of how active the Czech Republic is in the European Union. In the last two years, we have proven that we can take matters into our own hands and inspire others.

Therefore, I think the time has come for one concrete step – to get rid of labels like “new” member state or “post-communist economy” once and for all.

Today we no longer compete in the second league, in our own category. We compare ourselves to the best and can do great things. This is how we need to think about ourselves in order to be well prepared for the future.
