The D35 highway from Olomouc to Mohelnice was closed on Thursday morning by an accident involving a van and a truck, one of the drivers was injured. The accident happened in front of Litovlí, traffic is being diverted near Křelov, queues are forming. Spokespersons of the fire department and the police informed about it. According to the traffic information of the Directorate of Roads and Highways, the restriction is expected until approximately 1:00 p.m.
The accident happened after 09:00 at the 254th kilometer in the direction from Olomouc to Mohelnice. “Traffic is being diverted at the Křelov-Břuchotín exit, access to the highway is possible near Unčovice at kilometer 253. All components of the integrated rescue system are in place. The police are investigating the circumstances of the traffic accident on the spot,” said police spokeswoman Ivana Skoupilová.

During the accident, according to fire department spokesperson Lucie Balážová, operating fluids leaked and a load of construction material spilled onto the road from the demolished trailer in one of the vehicles.
