Born in Litomick, Birner played hockey in Slavia Prak, then played for a long time in the zmo and fought for his chance in the NHL. He didn’t make it. He then worked in Finland, playing in the KHL for Lova Prague, but he spent the 2015/16 season under Jetde and celebrated a historic championship title with the club.
Then he moved to the KHL in the colors of Elyabinsk, but in the first spring of 2016/17, he went to Vcarsk. In November 2018, he died in Friborg and again sent Bl Tigers. Before the last season, he got the captain’s jersey.
In the regular season, Birner played 43 games and recorded 15 points for five goals and ten assists. In the playoffs, he added five points out of nine (2+3). A total of 391 starts and 312 points (108+204) in the extra league. With Blmi Tygry, he celebrated twice as well as the title. He played twice at the World Championships, once at the Olympic Games.

The memories will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am hopeful that what was promised here in 2015 has come to fruition. For the seven seasons I spent here, I am immortal, declared Birner.
As a new member of the implementation team, he will play the role of scouting. I have always been an ambitious hunter, which has not changed with my new role. I know that it will be a process where I have to learn a lot and it will take time. But that’s okay, I want to help develop the club further, said Birner.
According to head coach Filip Peno, this step is an attempt to better compete with the rich teams of the extra league, who can afford to buy ready-made games. We must be efficient in recruiting and nurturing young players. The role of the scout is due to this philosophy, which we will follow for a long time, and that is why we will implement it in the club, explained Pen.
