A traffic accident involving a bus and a passenger vehicle on Strakonická paralyzed morning traffic in Prague. Two bus passengers were injured and taken to hospital. After the collision, the driver of the car stopped the car a few tens of meters away and ran away.

Traffic on Strakonická street in Velká Chuchla was limited after 8 o’clock on Monday morning by a traffic accident involving a car and a bus. Two passengers on the bus were injured in the accident.

The rescue service sent two crews of rescuers to the scene. “Both women were conscious the whole time. Their backs were bruised and after treatment and diagnosis, they were taken to the hospital for further care,” the medical rescue service of the capital city of Prague reported on the intervention on the X social network.
The driver of the passenger vehicle fled the scene of the accident after the collision, but stopped the car after 150 meters and fled to an unknown destination. According to police spokesman Richard Hrdin, an emergency motorized unit is currently looking for the man.
