Samsung Exynos 2600 will probably say goodbye to GPU from AMD, it should have its own

--

Company Samsung develops its own Exynos mobile processors. However, their presence is affected not only by specific models, but also by specific countries (the same phone can have a Snapdragon in one place, an Exynos in another). In recent generations, AMD GPUs have been found in these processors (mostly in high-end processors, but this also applies to the mid-range in the form of the Exynos 1480), however, rumors are beginning that this could end in the future. The Exynos 2400 (codename S5E9945) in the Galaxy S24 smartphones has graphics from AMD, just like the Exynos 2500 (S5E9555) is supposed to have, but this is said not to apply to the next successor.

That one should probably carry a name Exynos 2600 and behind-the-scenes information suggests that this processor should already say goodbye to graphics chips from AMD. Samsung itself is to take care of the development of such a GPU. We expect this processor in the high-end Galaxy S26 phone, which should appear in 2026, if Samsung continues its typical schedule of introducing these flagships. This gives Samsung quite a bit of time to develop its own GPU. But the question is how successful he will be. It can be assumed that this processor could be manufactured using 2nm technology with GAA.
