The accident involving a truck that crashed into the center barriers near Jesenice and ended up on its side has been complicating traffic on the Prague ring road since Tuesday morning. The truck blocked all lanes, so cars can only pass in the parking lane in both directions. Long lines form. Firefighters freed the wedged truck driver, and paramedics took him to the hospital with injuries to his abdomen and pelvis. This follows from information from firefighters, police and rescue services.
The truck crashed on the second kilometer of the circuit in the direction of D5 on the border between Prague and Central Bohemia, which is why rescue services from both regions intervened there together. The vehicle ended up on its side after breaking through the barriers and blocked all lanes of traffic.

The truck hit the center guardrails, which it broke through and ended up on its side, blocking both lanes of traffic. Firefighters freed the truck driver, then handed him over to paramedics. Monika Nováková, spokeswoman for the Central Bohemian Rescue Service, said that he suffered injuries to his abdomen and pelvis, was conscious and breathing on his own. After treatment, paramedics took him to the Motol hospital.
