An accident involving a truck that crashed into the center barriers near Jesenice and ended up on its side complicated traffic on the Prague ring road for several hours on Tuesday. The truck blocked all traffic lanes, so cars could initially only drive in the parking lanes in both directions. Long lines formed.

Around 1:30 p.m., the police opened two lanes in the direction of D1, one lane in the direction of D5, the restriction will last for about four hours, said police spokeswoman Eva Kropáčová. Firefighters freed the wedged truck driver, and paramedics took him to the hospital with injuries to his abdomen and pelvis.

The truck crashed on the second kilometer of the circuit in the direction of D5 on the border between Prague and Central Bohemia, which is why rescue services from both regions intervened there together.
