Half a year after the release of the vivo X100 flagship phones in China, the manufacturer is preparing a minor rejuvenation of these models. We will see the X100s and X100s Pro variants already next week. Both pieces will get a newer processor Dimensions 9300+ with slightly higher core speed and better AI capabilities. However, only the basic X100s will get at least a new body with flat shapes and a completely flat display. However, the X100s Pro looks exactly the same in the leaked photos as the original version, which has been sold here since the beginning of this year.
Since there are so few changes and these are only slightly better already known phones, the prices generally remain the same. This is confirmed by today’s leaks on the social network Weibo. The X100s costs 3999 yuan in the basic version and 4999 yuan for the X100s Pro, which means 16 and 20 thousand crowns after tax. The main thing, however, is the price of the new best phone in the brand’s offer.
Next week, the vivo X100 Ultra with a new 1-inch main camera and a 200Mpx periscopic telephoto lens will also sit on the throne of photomobiles. This model is presented by the manufacturer itself as “a professional camera that can also make calls”. So it is not surprising that the price will be high. New cameras, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a better V3+ chip will cost 6,699 yuan in the basic variant and 7,499 yuan in the 16/512GB version. So we look at 26.5 and 30 thousand crowns with tax. These are slightly higher Chinese prices than in the case of the Xiaomi 14 Ultraso it is probably clear that if the X100 Ultra reaches Europe, it will also cost similar to the best Xiaomi. However, according to the leakers, a European release is highly unlikely.
