Already today, a rescue helicopter had to take off to the second motorcyclist

Today, just after ten o’clock in the morning, there was a traffic accident on the main road from Pilsen to Karlovy Vary before Úněšov, during which a motorcyclist flew off the road.
A serious injury to the rider was reported from the scene, so all emergency services went to the accident and the air ambulance helicopter was also called.

Firefighters secured the scene of the accident, carried out fire prevention measures and assisted the rescuers in loading the injured person into the helicopter. The man was then transported to the hospital.

“Rescuers on the spot secured a man born in 1963 and with moderate injuries transported him by air to the Emergency Faculty Hospital Lochotín,” the press spokeswoman for the rescuers told us.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident at the scene, we will add their statement as soon as it becomes available.

Today, this is already the second motorcyclist to whom the LZS helicopter had to take off. The first incident occurred in the morning before eight o’clock on road 191 near Klatov.
“The young motorcyclist, born in 2007, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the Emergency Faculty Lochotín Hospital via LZS, conscious.” said the spokeswoman for the rescuers about this accident.
